Hi, I am Jenna, creator of Busy Bees Sensory Co. I have the type of story you wouldn’t believe unless you lived it but I can say all of it brought me right here! In a past life I worked with kiddos (usually neurodivergent) at a local school district. I specialized in working with children on the spectrum and to be honest fell in love with the way their brains process the world around us. In the midst of working alongside some of the best educators I know and the best kids, I longed for my own family but was battling 6 long years of infertility and loss. Fast forward, I was in a severe car accident that rendered me unable to continue teaching. By miracle and plan, I became pregnant with the light of my life, Nora. She has been what truly drove this company into life. We have been so blessed and now I get to live my dream of being a mommy. While I love being home, I never lost my passion to pour into other children and provide options for sensory processing. What started as me curating tables and kits for Nora, turned into Busy Bees Sensory Co. We are the new kits on the block according to the interwebs but don’t let that fool you; I come packed with over a decade of hands on knowledge and working with children who desperately needed an outlet and something that helped their minds and hands process. I am so grateful to share my knowledge with your family through these kits. Hidden behind all the fun is extensively thought out learning activities packing into one packaged box.
